Yes2Jobs is a Los Angeles-based employment development non-profit that prepares high school, college, and entry-level candidates for careers in Media, Technology, Finance, and Healthcare Services. Initially founded in 1987 to champion diversity within the entertainment industry, the organization pioneers a transformative approach to economic empowerment in underrepresented communities through personalized mentorship and skill-building.
THE CHALLENGE
Strategic Realignment and Tightening Administration
In early 2026, following a leadership transition, the Yes2Jobs board and incoming director took the initiative to strategically tighten the organization's administration. Operating as a fully remote team on Google Workspace, leadership began searching for a unified digital infrastructure to centralize their funding outreach, critical business files and deadlines, and program planning.
Simultaneously, the organization was navigating an external challenge: a severe downturn in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. Recognizing that traditional media internships were lessening, Yes2Jobs strategically realigned its programming to broaden students' career horizons. They expanded focus on their foundational "Expose" pillar, dedicating resources to expose and prepare students for a variety of additional potential career paths through their time-tested professional branding and leadership development training.

THE SOLUTION
From Internal Tool to Program Core
Yes2Jobs initially adopted Korgi to unify their internal staff operations. The impact was immediate: within one week, team members had centralized their daily collaboration on a focused collection of Korgi boards, along with business documents and funding applications that had been managed by different leaders via their organizational emails and drives.
Recognizing the platform's potential to drive student outcomes, Yes2Jobs leadership met with Korgi to discuss presenting the tool to partners and students in one of their upcoming Winter sessions. Korgi’s founder proposed an even more integrated approach: introducing the platform near the beginning of the curriculum, empowering students to use Korgi for their initial career exploration then utilizing it to project manage their entire program journey.
In February 2026, Yes2Jobs and Korgi officially partnered to launch this dynamic new programming across two partner high schools and one Career and Technical Education (CTE) non-profit, utilizing live and virtual high-touch training sessions.
Career "Vibe Boards" and Critical Skill Building
Powered by Korgi 2.0, Yes2Jobs successfully centered "career exploration" as a core offering. Instead of students researching the handful of careers they’d already heard of, students used Korgi to spin up instant "vibe boards" based on their unique backgrounds and interests.

Because students were creating detailed career exploration boards, with resource links, potential pathways, academic and certification opportunities, and key execution steps in 60 seconds, Yes2Jobs’ and the partner advisors immediately reallocated session time from guiding labor-intensive research to extremely targeted guidance and insights for each student. Students also worked on their boards independently between sessions and returned with advanced questions and additional boards.

KEY OUTCOMES
Reframing the Offering: Student cohort reviews from the initial rollout were exceptionally high, with all Winter partners committing again to Fall – and prompting Yes2Jobs to confidently lead with Korgi in their secondary school outreach.
Expanding Partners: For the Spring cohort, the organization successfully closed an additional high school and an entire school district for their program, making Korgi available district-wide for students via the Career and College Planning/CTE center.
Operational Optimization: Yes2Jobs doubled funding applications submitted in the first quarter vs 2025, by using a centralized board and integrated AI to search for opportunities and to query and manage the board.

MEETING THE AI MOMENT
With this partnership, Yes2Jobs and Korgi also were navigating AI distrust – and displacement – in the entertainment industry, as well as educational institutions’ distrust of AI in the hands of students.
