KORGI 1.0
Korgi started with a simple truth: planning and tracking your work in a productivity app that's separate from your favorite, familiar tools is inherently...NOT productive. And not as secure. Our earliest alpha boards simple turned Google Sheets™, which so many people use to track projects, into cards on boards to make it much easier to arrange, color-code, and add assets to, versus spreadsheet rows. The central response came quickly: "What else can I do from the board?" Our users didn't want just want to manage tasks – they didn't want to have to leave their boards at all. Research showed: the "tab tax" was costing people weeks of lost productivity, focus, and revenue each year as they jumped between tabs, apps, and windows; businesses tech stacks were overflowing and growing with hundreds of apps; and lack of focus and overwhelm was a uniform and growing struggle. By building a solution to connect existing leading tools, Korgi centralized teams, tools, and execution in easy-to-learn boards, integrated with AI for speed and efficiency. Users found us because we were the only comprehensive productivity platform for Google Workspace and the only one that connected Google and Microsoft tools, which teams were constantly looking for.

By year two, we saw that today's "team" was a growing mix of: full- and part-time employees; contractors, gig employees, fractionals, and advisors (often located in different countries); and clients, nearly all of whom were fluid in the periods and lengths of times they worked with the company – often on a project-level basis.
